Greyhound Homing Scandal

Greyhound Watch have an excellent article published on K9 Magazine’s website, entitled ‘Greyhound Homing Scandal’.

The article documents how greyhound trainers and owners take full advantage of the loosely termed ‘Rule 18’ when it comes to re-homing their greyhounds ‘responsibly’. Many being advertised ‘free to good home’ and effectively evicted from their kennels without neutering or a home check.

Resulting in yet more abuse and suffering for the greyhounds from their neglectful new owners and of course more pressure on the financially burdened independent rescue centres, who constantly struggle to care for the ‘industry’s waste product’.
